First thing I see after I get after my own Hybridization... which I'm still hazy on doing and to be honest I think I might get Witchcrafter Schmietta added later... I am never going to get this chest down

And I see posters nearby outside coming into work, denouncing Hybridization as immoral and degenerate and against traditional family values, i.e. it's the new queer since Japan already has gay and trans rights and yet no-one can tell me the legal status of weed

And a bunch of E-Mails bordering on borderline harassment.

I really hope we don't get some astroturfed protest. Ugh...

Hmm. I'll admit, I've been getting some unusual messages sent to the e-mail I use for SAI which goes on about how 'unethical' and 'dangerous' it is to let monsters live in the city. It's only been here and there, so I've been ignoring them, but they have been increasing in number lately.

Ugh, of course it'd be impossible for the new politics from the Diet to not spread here.

FYI, if you don't know, there's a new semi-stable coalition keeping the lights on, and unfortunately, they're the Worst People you can imagine.

I'll keep an eye on what's happening to make sure that none of my staff or the monsters/hybrids I know of that are living in the city are getting any kind of harassment.

I'm hoping nothing escalates, but I think we'll have to be wary.

Right, probably the best thing you can do.

@ Escalation: I'm not sure if they'll get anywhere but there's some nightmare-ish legislation making the rounds in the Diet's upper and lower chambers about 'blood purity'.

But you know how hard it is for the Diet to do anything since the Upper Chamber tends to bounce back the Lower Chamber's bills on arbitrary grounds.

I'm hoping some absolutely stupid scandal sends us back into the new Prime Minister of the Week, but these folks seem committed to being The Worst and avoiding a general election.
